A version for Android devices will follow at a later date.
The game's blurb states: "Players will race and perform tricks amongst the ruins of the past, to discover quirky characters, a wild story and parts and blueprints to upgrade, customize and unlock new bikes."
The game is also packed with social features to track the progress of your friends, whilst leaderboards ensure it's easy to see who is the best.
In addition, the mobile title links up with Trials Fusion to access bonus rider gear.
Studio believes Ghost's concept is still "perfectly viable".
"I think the idea is still perfectly viable," Mayberry told VideoGamer.com while discussing the game ahead of tomorrow's launch of Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls. "I don't know if we'll ever do it but I think it's something we'd like to do."
StarCraft Ghost was first announced over a decade ago and promised to offer a third-person twist on Blizzard's popular RTS universe. The game was expected to be Blizzard's first major foray into console development, and was thought to focus largely around stealth and team-based third-person combat.
Something never seen before will be shown off at Tokyo Game Show this year.
"I'm very excited about the announcement of the release window in Japan," Spencer told Famitsu. "A unique exclusive title for Xbox One is going to be released by an awesome Japanese studio"
The studio is described as "subarashī," which is the highest praise you can give in Japanese.
Spencer adds: "I'm looking forward to go to Tokyo Game Show this year, and I want to show everyone something never seen before. Stay tuned!"
The identify of the studio and game remains a mystery.

But Blizzard can't formally confirm an XB1 release for Ultimate Evil Edition yet.
"I don't know where we are with Microsoft right now so I can't really comment on what that contract looks like," Diablo 3 lead producer Alex Mayberry explained to us this morning while discussing tomorrow's launch of Reaper of Souls. "The point is we are developing for Xbox [One] and PS4 simultaneously. We hit those major platforms and then our goal as a development team is to make them run."
Mayberry says that "it makes more sense" to develop for both next-gen consoles simultaneously, even though a release on Microsoft's console has yet to be confirmed.
Hotline Miami free for those who previously purchased the game on PS3 or Vita.
In a video interview with Destructoid, Nigel Lowrie of publisher Devolver Digital said: "We're going to bring Hotline Miami 1 to PS4... and we're going to keep it Cross-buy because we feel that if the user has already bought it for a PlayStation platform, they have the right to own it on Vita, on PS4, on PS3. It's different on PlayStation to PC because they're totally different environments."
No launch date was given regarding when gamers can expect Hotline Miami to arrive on PS4.
