Company counting the cost of lost sales as it fails to supply consumers.
Managing director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK Fergal Gara told Trusted Reviews of the impact this is having on the company.
"We haven't yet caught up with the initial demand across Europe," he said. "We are still dealing with the day one market."
Gara goes on to add that Sony is close to matching the demand: "We are very close to being in a full supply situation, but we are not quite there yet."
Despite being close to matching sales, the Sony boss admits that the company may have lost hardware sales in the process. "We may have lost some sales,” he...
These settings were deactivated for a variety of reasons.
"The dev team is completely dedicated to getting the most out of each platform, so the notion that we would actively downgrade quality is contrary to everything we’ve set out to achieve," reads an update on the game's official website. "We test and optimise our games for each platform on which they’re released, striving for the best possible quality.
"The PC version does indeed contain some old, unused render settings that were deactivated for a variety of reasons, including possible impacts on visual fidelity, stability, performance and overall gameplay quality."

Nintendo had a solid showing at this year's E3, highlighting its Wii U plans with confidence and belief. But in terms of what was on the showfloor, did it actually make that much of an impact?
Nintendo, of course, still had a major presence in the LA Convention Centre. Here's a rundown on what we saw, how it played and if it made us feel like heroes...
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
This is not a joke: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was the best game I saw while playing through Nintendo's offerings, and one of my favourite titles at E3.
An extension of the mini-game that featured in Super Mario 3D World, it's an incredibly stripped back experience: guide Toad to the end of the level, collecting items as you go and avoiding any oncoming obstacles....
Servers will be turned off on August 15, confirms Bandai Namco.
This means that by August 15 all servers will be turned off and the game will no longer be in Early Access, says the publisher. The beta launched for Windows and PS3 in August 2013.
Bandai Namco also thanked the game's players "for their permanent support and dedication" and noted that "all the feedbacks will be taken into account for the upcoming projects".
This sounds like the game won't return in a non-beta state, and is actually closing for good. We've reached out to Bandai Namco for clarification.
"We want more tactical choice, more player choice," says Visceral creative director.
In an interview with Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Milham shared new insight into the team's approach to single player.
"When we were thinking about how to do this game, I think anybody who knows us at Visceral knows that singleplayer is near and dear to our heart. We've done a pretty OK job of it before, and we have some pretty cool ideas for this one.
"On the singleplayer side the stuff that's important to us is maybe not do as much of a single-path linear rollercoaster that's been done before. We want more tactical choice, more player choice. Things to do besides just shoot...

Halo 5: Guardians won't kill off characters, "we are not Game of Thrones" - Bonnie Ross.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Ross drew comparisons to the popular TV show Game of Thrones when discussing the series' previous approach to character development.
"We also had a tendency to kill all of our characters besides Master Chief," Ross said. "We are not Game of Thrones, and we actually want to make sure going forward we have a larger cast of characters with which to tell stories.
"Stories need to stand alone, whether they're books, in the game, different animation and live action. The game has to stand alone and each of the stories has to stand alone. They...

Space puzzler pushed back to August to polish up handheld and PS3 versions.
Curve states that the reason for the delay is to "polish the Vita and PS3 versions of the game, which have required extra optimisation".
"The Swapper is our first indie title to really push the limits of the PlayStation 3 and Vita," said Curve Digital managing director Jason Perkins. "We've been able to really throw the power of the PS4 at the game, but we also want to ensure that when the game comes out, it looks great and runs well at 30 FPS on hardware that, in the case of the PlayStation 3, is over seven years old."
Speaking to CVG at E3 last week, Kojima said: "What Rockstar has created and the world they have created is super impressive, and actually when I saw the PS4 version a few days ago I got depressed again.
"And this is not game design-related it's just me. The quality that they showed in the PS4 trailer was really impressive."
In July last year, Kojima Tweeted that he was super impressed with GTA 5, and that was when running on PS3 and Xbox 360.
"GTA V new trailer was awesome! This free control is future of the game, way higher than anywhere, makes me depress...
