Warner Bros. and NetherRealm on Monday announced a mobile version of the upcoming fighting game . GameSpot has followed up with Warner Bros., asking for additional information.

Being a free-to-play game, it's expected that Mortal Kombat X will feature microtransactions in some form or another. However, Warner Bros. did not detail any such micro-payments Monday.
