Life is Strange: Episode 2 Out of Time Review | GameCloud Australia

William Kirk at GameCloud Australia writes: "In a game driven by choice, consequence is arguably the most important component. Life is Strange gives players the unique ability to rewind time in order to manipulate events, which is very cool, but for me, Episode 2 really needed to hammer home whether there would be any longer term ramifications to deal with. Naturally, DONTNOD delivered on this, but what surprised me was that while I still questioned my actions from the previous episode, I didnt necessarily regret my mistakes. Like in real life, there were complications as a result, but I also felt empowered to make smarter decisions moving forward, and not as if I was being punished for shock value. As a whole, this episode is a little more up and down, with the pace bogging down in the middle, but it was still great to get out of the school, and it has an emotional climax that packs a punch. DONTNOD are doing a lot of things right, and Im invested to see where it goes."
