GameFront: "The Redemption itself ends on a ho-hum note and, while it occasionally can be a fun time, it never reaches the point of being exceptional or even especially compelling. And looking back, neither does The Tyranny of King Washington. Its an expansion back that was bursting with potential, but which winds up being mired in the doldrums of weak storytelling. The Tyranny takes no risks, and it becomes hard to be all that enthusiastic about it. Animal powers and George Washington making his angry face arent really worth the $30 asking price, or really, the six- to eight-hour time commitment unless youre some kind of huge Assassins Creed fan. The rest of us wont gain much from the experience except a lighter wallet."
