"I was about twenty hours into Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning when I made the realization that there was absolutely no way I was ever going to finish the game. No, the game was not bad; in fact, I thought the gameplay of Reckoning was very well put together and the loot system was very engaging. The baseline story is said to take 40+ hours. However, since I was doing most of the side quests, exploring the Faelands in its entirety could take nearly 100 hours. This realization made me put down Reckoning.
