Those of you hoping to return to a snazzier Grove Street on the PlayStation 3 may be disappointed to learn that the rumoured updated version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has only been confirmed for the Xbox 360 so far. When achievements for the title leaked earlier in the week, we speculated that it'd be unlikely for the re-release to be exclusive but right now, it looks like we were wrong. Whats strange is that this information comes courtesy of a support ticket, and not a proper announcement. Moreover, the question which extracted these details from the firm pertains to the absence of the Xbox Originals release from Microsofts storefront. Its worth pointing out, then, that the PS2 Classics edition of the game is also missing from the PlayStation Store. So, is there still hope for a PS3 version? We hope so.
