Chalgyr's Game Room writes: The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is the sequel to NIS America's The Guided Fate Paradox from late 2013. I enjoyed that particular title a great deal, despite the fact that the roguelike genre tends to drive me a little nutty at times. One thing that helps is that the series blends roguelike elements, without being a true representation of the genre. The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is a solid sequel that feels very similar to the first game while still making a handful of notable changes.
