Mario Kart 8 Lands First Place Finish in Weekly Sales Charts

Weekly sales charts hosted by VGChartz have revealed that Mario Kart 8 lands far ahead of Ubisoft's open-world action-adventure Watch Dogs by about 30,000 units.

Mario Kart 8 leads the pack, moving 82,544 at retail to bring its sales total to just over 600,000, while Watch Dogs on PS4 and Watch Dogs on Xbox 360 take second and third, respectively. Minecraft's PS3 release has seen strong sales in five weeks on the platform, bringing it's total to 243,175 and a fourth place finish this week.
