Netflix Use on Game Consoles Dropping

While streaming content from Netflix via video game consoles is still the preferred method to consume media from the service, it isn't quite as popular as it once was.
Thanks to the rise in popularity of Smart TVs and small dedicated streaming boxes like Roku, Apple TV, and Chromecast, the number of consumers using their game consoles as Netflix players is on the decline.
This information comes from a study conducted by market research firm GfK, who's reporting that 43 percent of consumers have used their video game consoles to stream Netflix in 2014.
