Xbox One's weekly console sales in the United States have more than tripled following the $50 holiday price drop, Microsoft has announced.

According to Microsoft's corporate VP Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox One has been leading this generation in terms of console sales in the United States for the past couple of days, and is rapidly approaching that coveted 10 million sales figure for units sold to retailers.
