Xbox One, Xbox Live Developer Leaves Microsoft for "Something New"

Boyd Multerer announced today via Twitter that he would leave the position of Xbox Director of Development in order to pursue new endeavors away from Microsoft.

While Multerer joined Microsoft in the '90s, he started working on Xbox in 2000 and helped to propel the platform to where it is today. "Goodbye Microsoft. It was a good run. Xbox was Great! Time to do something new," Multerer wrote on Twitter today.
