New Wave of Amiibo Announced, Functional with Mario Party 10

The next wave of amiibo have been announced, and Nintendo is banking on it hard. The next wave will include Robin, Pac-Man, and Wario, but there's more: The Mushroom Kingdom gang is coming back, for their inclusion in Mario Party 10.
These will have red bases, and will include for the first time, Toad. They can be used to unlock special boards in gameplay. We'll have more details for you after the Nintendo direct.
