Sony Dropping Out of Gamescom Press Conference

Sony will be skipping out on doing its annual press conference at Gamescom 2015, taking place this year in early August, and will instead be holding a media briefing at Paris Games week on October 27, according to a statement Sony has made to GameSpot. With the changes this year of E3 taking place a week later and Gamescom taking place earlier, we feel that both PlayStation and the wider industry would benefit from a major news milestone later in the year, during the most important period for gaming.
