In case you haven't already heard the news, Nintendo has finally decided to bring the smaller New 3DS model to folks in North America. Naturally, in typical Nintendo fashion, the company won't be releasing it in the most straightforward of ways, as the only way gamers in the States will be able to grab the smaller handheld will be through a special Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundle on September 25.

In addition, Nintendo announced another special edition version of the 3DS XL, which features a sleek Legend of Zelda Hyrule theme, just in time for the release of Tri-Force Heroes. Give the snazzy new custom gold handheld a look below.
