Legend of Grimrock 2 is a sequel to the chart-topping, critically acclaimed dungeon exploration role-playing game Legend of Grimrock that revived the dungeon crawling genre in 2012. The game is a dungeon crawling game inspired by oldschool classics of the genre while still bringing its own twists to the game. The game features survival, combat, magic, puzzles and role-playing elements. The player controls a group of prisoners that have shipwrecked on a mysterious island of Nex. Unbeknownst to the shipwrecked, the island is riddled with ancient tunnels and dungeons. The player's mission is to form a team to help survive the ever present monsters and escape from the island.
