Online multiplayer stops working properly across "all" EA's titles

Somebody at EA appears to have spilled his or her coffee over something Important. I imagine that something to be a glowing cyborg head, hooked up to an enormous bank of supercomputers. The publisher has just announced via its Support page that the "systems that handle online gameplay, matchmaking, and login are offline for all of our titles". Yes, all of them. Got to be a first, surely?
