Cheer up, Peter Molyneux. There may actually be a dog in Fable Legends after all, if a new Lionhead video is any indication. Within, game director David Eckelberry comments of the prospect of hero pets that "we're looking at that one, especially some characters who have a pet all the time". There's talk of "canine love", too. Auspicious stuff.
