There had been concern that the NFC figurines wouldn't be available to purchase in the UK, after Nintendo said that it was still finalising plans for the territory.

18 figures are expected to be available, including fan-favourites Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Eevee.

Each one will be sold randomly inside a Pokémon-themed Gacha Ball, meaning players won't know which toy they're getting until they crack it open. Each Gacha Ball costs £3.99.
