News: Halo: Spartan Assault releases on Xbox One on Christmas Eve news

Halo: Spartan Assault will release on Xbox One on December 24, Microsoft has announced. An Xbox 360 version will follow in January 2014.

The downloadable twin-stick shooter first released on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 in July. Anybody who has bought or purchases the game on either of those platforms before December 15 will be able to buy the Xbox One version for $4.99. Otherwise the game will be available for $14.99.

The game currently costs £4.99 on Windows 8, although a UK price for the Xbox One version has yet to be announced.
