Microsoft teases March 20 reveal for latest graphics tech.
The announcement of the graphics API was teased on twitter last night, with the tweet pointing users in the direction of a web page highlighting the DirectX 12 logo and a March 20 reveal date. Logos for AMD, Nvidia, Intel, Snapdragon and Windows also feature on the page.
The API will replace current graphics technology DirectX 11, used to power recent shooters Crysis 3 and Call of Duty: Ghosts. Multiple other titles has also been developed to take advantage of DX11, including Battlefield 4, Far Cry 3 and Metro: Last Light.
It isn't yet known how DirectX 12 will improve...
