Warner Bros. has announced Gauntlet, a modernised reboot of the classic 80s action game due for release on Steam this summer.

Developed by Magicka creator Arrowhead Game Studios, Gauntlet promises to stay true to the previous games' formula by offering four fantasy-based characters - Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie and Elf – coupled with new procedural dungeons and 3D visuals.

It'll also head up Warner Bros. new 'WB Games Vault', a direct-to-digital initiative that aims to "deliver paid games based on popular Warner Bros. and Midway brands, plus original IP, across...
