News: PS4 sales drop off in Japan

PS4 sales for the week ended March 30 fell to 23,327, down from 30,201 the week prior. This took total sales for the console in Japan to 493,338 since launch on February 22.

All other platforms recorded a sales increase week-on-week, with the 3DS coming out on top with 64,632 units. This can be largely attributed to a sales surge in the final week before the Japanese tax rate increase, but it's unclear why PS4 didn't also benefit.
