News: Outcast creators head to Kickstarter for HD remake news

A Kickstarter for the game launched yesterday which promises to take "one of the most engrossing open-world action adventure games ever, and [bring] it to the modern age of video-gaming" with enhanced 1080p visuals and improved gameplay elements.

The remake will be developed by Fresh3D, a team comprised of most of the original game's creators, including creative director Frank Sauer, technical director Yann Robert, and gameplay advisor Yves Grolet.
