News: Oculus Rift sales surpass 85,000 units

To date, 60,000 units of the original dev kit have been sold, with a further 25,000 units coming from the new dev kit. That version launched on March 19 at a price of $350.
Last month it was announced that Facebook was to acquire Oculus VR for a staggering $2 billion, a move that promises to accelerate the firm's gaming plans.
