Dragon Age: Inquisition will release on October 7, EA has confirmed. The game is expected to launch simultaneously on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The date was revealed via a brand new gameplay trailer introducing the Inquisitor, "the lone survivor of a cataclysmic blast... [and] the only one who can stop the demons terrorizing the land of Thedas".
