In the new DLC players take control of Waylon Park, a software engineer under contract with Murkoff and the man who emailed journalists around the world at the beginning of Outlast.
The story acts as a prequel to the main game, but also extends beyond to reveal the final chapter in Mount Massive Asylum's story.
