News: Netflix price rise to hit UK

Monthly subscription to increase to £6.99, but existing members won't be affected for two years.

Existing members, however, won't be affected immediately, with Netflix promising to freeze the subscription price at £5.99 for two years.

The company says that the price increase will let it "continue adding more films and TV programmes".

Netflix is available on all current home consoles, including Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Wii U.
