It isn't clear why the game has had its price reduced to zero or whether the discount is a mistake on Microsoft's part. If it's the latter, pick it up quickly by heading through to xbox.com.

Microsoft's Games with Gold initiative isn't due to kick off on Xbox One until next month, with the first free games expected to be Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood.

Powerstar Golf launched alongside Xbox One last November.
