Next firmware update to improve "software stability of some features".
Update 1.71 appears to be a relatively minor update designed to "improve software stability of some features". Sony reminds PS4 users to "activate your automatic download" to receive the update as soon as it rolls out.
PS4's previous 1.70 update is alleged to have introduced multiple minor issues with software and hardware, including problems with automatic gameplay capture and the DualShock 4's vibration functionality. It isn't known whether 1.71 will rectify the issues.
