The biggest thing about these DLC is most of all an introduction of characters and tracks that are not in the Mario universe. Link and Animal Crossing characters are going to be introduced which is a huge thing considering typically Mario Kart roster has restricted itself to Mario characters which with MK8 release it has not really helped as we got all of the Koopalings.
