The New Nintendo 3DS launched in Japan on October 11. The handheld has flown off shelves selling 233,483 units in its opening weekend, according to Famitsu. The New Nintendo 3DS LL (Same as the XL in the West) sold 172,332 units. The standards New Nintendo 3DS sold 61,151 units. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate shipments topped two million units, with sales of 1.62 million units. The game was the top selling game for the week.
