With 12 games in the series total, it has sold over 100 million copies and averages around 40 million active players a month. Known primarily for its multi-player, Call of Duty gained a lot of popularity with its fourth installment, Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Since then it has become a world-wide phenomenon and hitting #1 on charts around release time. I personally enjoy these games myself and unlike most, enjoy them for their story telling.
