AusGamers has kicked off a new weekly column focusing on classic games of yesteryear and looking at their relevance in the modern age of gaming. Their first throwback is to Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness in celebration of BlizzCon this coming weekend. From the column: "Warcraft II in some ways is a lot like Street Fighter II, in the sense that not that many people played the original and it was the second entry that truly captured the imaginations of millions around the world. Well, thats probably the only thing that these two games have in common, as everything else about Warcraft II is nothing like Street Fighter II at all. Unless of course it turns out that Blanka has secretly been an Orc all along."
