In 8 Bit Forward's ongoing search to find the best Mario Kart game, as voted by 8 Bit Forward's readers, they've narrowed down the field to four titles in the first round of the voting. The reader's top four titles then moved on to the Semifinals, where they recently pit Mario Kart 64 against Mario Kart Double Dash!! In a fairly close race during Round 5, Mario Kart 64 was edged out by the Gamecube version of the karting game, and Double Dash!! moved on to the final round.
