"Two or three years ago, I was in love with video games. Passionate. I hadnt even played that many games up until that point, and nowadays I just play them casually on occasion, but I had somehow fallen under the spell. Something deep inside me told me I had a job to do as a writer: to bring games to a new place at the forefront of media culture. To me, they were so important.
