Titles such as these left an indelible mark on players - and inspired some of them to get into game development as a result. Spirits of Xanadu is a result of Allen Trivette and Lee Williams inspiration from those classic games, although they have not just gone the simple route of remaking or reimagining either property. The feel may be similar, but the story these developers tell - and the way they do so - stands on its own merits."
