The Endless Runner is a genre that has found its home on smartphones. With a limited control set and short-burst gameplay the right game becomes a perfect time-killer, and ever since Temple Run became a hit the App Store has seen a regular stream of similar games. Ridiculous Triathlon goes for the latter, basing the game around the activity for people who clearly dont think cycling, swimming or running are enough of a challenge on their own. Its a sport thats on the up both in participation and TV time, so its a sensible wave to ride. It allows developer CremaGames to pack variety into the runner, with each event being represented with a different environment and control system.
