John writes: "Dutch indie studio Vogelsap announced today that The Flock is coming to Steam this year, but thanks to a unique twist in the game play it will only be available for a limited time. The first-person multiplayer horror game will launch with a limited number of player lives that will be shared by the entire community. Every time a player dies in the game that number is reduced. Once the counter reaches zero, the game will no longer be available for purchase or playable. Players with the game in their Steam library will then be treated to the games climactic finale."
