ScrewAttack: "Naruto Powerful Shippuden is like a game with Multiple Personality Disorder. It jumps around from fun, to boring, to frustrating so often it's difficult to pin down just how good or bad it really is. It is solid and creative, but flawed. It's fun to play for short bursts, but exploring the depths of the game is both rewarding and disappointing at the same time. It feels good, it plays well, and it looks great, but its progression is full of ups and downs. But I do encourage fans of the franchise to give it a try, especially younger ones, who are obviously the target market in the first place. Still, it's so different from the other Naruto games that even the most longtime hardcore fans may find a new experience."
