Jasper Raines:"Video games are now matching Hollywood in terms of budget and press coverage. Games like The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite, show that games can tell stories on par with their big screen rivals, but what they usually don't do is make you laugh. I'm not saying games don't have witty writing, but it's chuckle or half smile-and-exhalation-of-air worthy at best. I cant' think of a game other than Portal 2 that actually went for comedy and wasn't awful. I'm not counting point and click adventure games, as they are so much more linear, and could be written in much the same way as a movie."
