Shadow Warrior was, alongside Doom, Duke Nukem Wolfenstein the pinnacle of the first person shooter genre in the nineties. However, its late entrance to the table held it back ever so slightly from the critical acclaim it deserved. The game boasted the same ultra violence and humour that the genre was known for and featured sexual themes never seen before, but coming from 3D Realms, that wasnt surprising.
