When it released earlier this year on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam, State of Decay provided gamers with the opportunity to play through a story campaign which challenged players to form a group of survivors in order to scavenge supplies, build defenses, and eventually escape the zombie-infested landscape of Trumbull Valley. While fans could opt to continue to play after finishing the main storyline, the games map provided a finite amount of resources which would eventually fully deplete. Undead Labs first DLC offering for their zombie survival game, entitled Breakdown, aims to create a truly endless sandbox mode that gives players the ability to continue to gather resources at the expense of facing increasingly stronger undead foes.
