So I Heard You Like Cosplay: Calgary Comic Expo Day 1

The first day of 2013s Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo (CCEE) has wrapped up, and boy do I have a lot of cosplay photos for you. It seems the likes of Nathan Fillion, Peter Dinklage, Carrie Fischer and Stan Lee draw in quite a few peoplesomewhere around the 50,000 markand quite a few of those people decided to dress up for your viewing pleasure. I snapped pictures of hobbits, wizards, psychotic clowns, batmen, mechromancers and the one and only Homestar Runner. Personally, my favorite cosplay of the day was the Splicer I caught on my way out of the Expo. He was committed to being quite creepy. Oh, and all the Adventure Time cosplay was great, too. I dont think Ive ever seen such a good Princess Bubblegum and Marceline before. Remember, this is just day one of three. The CCEE runs until Sunday, and Ill be there tomorrow and Sunday amongst the masses looking for the best cosplay. Be sure to check back then. - Lowell Bell
