Far Cry 3 spin-off officially confirmed two days after the full version of the game is leaked online.
Ubisoft has officially confirmed that its Montreal studio is developing the oft-rumoured , and that the game will be available for digital download on May 1.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and Ubisoft says the spin-off contains around eight hours of original content. The game features a single open-world island to explore, with many of 's gameplay systems and mechanics making a return, such as hunting, gathering numerous collectibles, and liberating outposts.
The original Far Cry 3 will not be required in order to play Blood Dragon.
