Halo: Spartan Assault may not be the Halo game Xbox One owners are waiting for - Master Chief's next adventure is slated to drop at some point in 2014 - but it should make for a very decent seasonal stopgap: a frenzied yet tactical, 60 frames a second twin stick shooter that's best enjoyed in pairs.
