It's not the sort of place you would expect to meet your bestest bud but, like poor package holidays, a queue in the Post Office, or a stint in prison, that serves to make any friendships mean that much more. And, like all those places, the people aren't necessarily the kind of guys you want to be pals with. Here, they're Orcs, Tolkien's twisted elf-kin - all teeth, mockney accents and made-up swear words. The fact that you care about them at all is Shadow of Mordor's greatest achievement.
