Sure, in the 90s everyone was speaking of its death - but I was a little too young to realize that. Instead, when most of my peers were invested in Doom and Quake I found my interest piqued by Myst, Phantasmagoria, Police Quest, and much more. However, most of these titles were quite challenging without hints. Thats why this return to form of sorts with titles so un-lovingly coined walking simulators is right up my alley. Life is Strange certainly has more action in it than games such as Dear Esther or Gone Home, but it still pushes very hard to create a lived in world. From Blackwell Academy to your friends house its obvious Dontnod tried to project a realistic environment."
