Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Review: Tomb Raiding in a Different Way | Gamer Headlines

Added: 17.12.2014 6:11 | 16 views | 0 comments

Gamer Headlines writes: "It was only four years ago that Crystal Dynamics completely transformed the Third-Person Action-Adventure formula we have all come to love through the various installments of Tomb Raider into an arcade-inspired experience with a fixed isometric perspective that relied heavily on its couch co-op nature with Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. The latest entry in this Tomb Raider spin-off series, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, builds on the same fundamental elements of its predecessor, while also adding in four-player cooperative play for the first time ever in a game involving the iconic female video game protagonist. Despite the changes applied to its design, Temple of Osiris still feels like an authentic Tomb Raider experience with a whole lot of puzzle solving and shooting involved. However, it lacks the same level of polish as some of the main entries of the franchise, occasionally ruining what is a genuinely fun and cleverly crafted video game."

Rollers of the Realm is a Full-Tilt Adventure (Review) | Twinfinite

Added: 16.12.2014 16:11 | 2 views | 0 comments

Chaz at Twinfinite writes, Its not often that my instincts about what Im about to get into based on a title screen get thrown completely for a loop. Rollers of the Realm gives off a distinct RPG feel as you start it up. As soon as you jump in, though, its very clearly a pinball game. From there, the true shape begins to take form, and you find yourself in the midst of a difficult, but pretty enjoyable, cross-genre game. Mixing up classic RPG elements with frantic pinball action, it creates a very unique and intriguing system thats easy to get the hang of but tough to master.

LittleBigPlanet 3 Review | GameCloud Australia

Added: 15.12.2014 7:21 | 5 views | 0 comments

Lliam Aheard at GameCloud Australia writes: "I didnt think Id care for LittleBigPlanet 3. Ive enjoyed the series up until now, but I couldnt see them evolving the franchise enough to keep it interesting. I was wrong. LBP3 is, at the very least, a fun platforming adventure. If youre inclined to dive into Create Mode and Community Levels though, it can be much, much more. It is unavoidably buggy, but otherwise well put together. Its a shame certain playable characters and abilities werent more present in Adventure Mode, but with over 8 million community levels Im sure it wont be long before theres plenty of alternatives uploaded."
