Defend Indie Music From Alien Haters in Loud on Planet X

Marcus Estrada writes: "Looking for a game akin to Plants vs. Zombies but with an indie music soundtrack? Okay, maybe you weren't, but it sounds like a pretty cool concept, right? That's basically what the game Loud on Planet X is. The tower defense-styled project has monsters amble sideways down lanes, but you don't want them there. As such, you make sure that your band fights everything off with the power of music (or, the weight of a speaker crashing down on the creatures' heads). This cartoony indie title by Pop Sandbox even takes a step beyond what was necessary by filling the game with real music from popular artists."

| Mortal Kombat too stiff? Try Dead or Alive 5: Last Round from £16.60 on XO

Dealspwn: Fancy saving a few quid on the latest version of Dead or Alive 5 on Xbox One? Then check out these hot offers that sees the game slashed to as low as £16.60 (with code below). Or £17.86 with the ninja and showstopper outfit DLC.
This new-gen version of the fighter is bursting with fighters, extra costumes, new stages and as per usual with the series - all the cleavage. Boob mania aside, Dead or Alive 5 is a seriously slick fighter. If you find the likes of Mortal Kombat or Injustice a bit too clunky, you should give DOA a go as the combat feels much faster and easier to pick up.

| PN2 | Review - Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 2
Added: 26.04.2015 16:17 | 10 views | 0 comments
Mark from PN2 checks out the latest updates to Mario Kart 8, including the new 200cc mode.
Paid DLC can be a little hit and miss of late. Some developers seem to have figured it out, but others have this thought in the back of their head that paying a large sum of money on top of what youve already paid for the game is worth it for one character (Im looking at you, Mortal Kombat) or a bunch of costumes that really arent worth it (e.g. Dead or Alive 5).
And then, theres DLC that completely changes the landscape, that makes you rethink the way you play entirely and question your skill at the same time.
